 Friend I Found

I left my job I had worked for ten years

Which did cause sorrow and tears,

I quit based on a simple principle

If you dont have them you will live
a life that certainly is not very full,

So I moved one to find new work

I ran into a buddy who wasn't a jerk,

Found a new job in no time at all
playing all kinds of music from oldies
rock, r&b, country, even C.W. McCall,

Then I met a nice DJ her name, Tracy

Helped me find a music web site
with only a 15 cent a song fee,

I lost the site I was using you see

Couldn't ask them again obviously,

Them being my former employers

To ask for help would be like going to
the  state appointed lawyers,

Your case is sure to be a failure

But I was in good hands going to her,

You see my new friend wouldn't steer me wrong

I knew this and we didn't know each other long,

Our friendship was a two way street

For I helped her cause she helped me get on my feet,

She had some mic issues too

Things I knew how to do,

From all the years I used the broadcaster

I was thankfully able to help her,

For I had to repay all the kindness she showed me

She can be found at rockindocradio.net

A great station to work at you can bet.

W
omen I Know

I know a lady we thinks she is a freak

But really is rather nice and unique,

I know a sweet gal who is big on felines,

Whose Club Pogo name intertwines,

I know a fine lady from the desert

She is not the kind who likes to flirt,

I have made all these friends on the job

Which is far from stocking Corn On The Cob,

You see my job is to be the guy who can entertain

Once in awhile my DJ job can also be a bit insane,

You see the station I work for is all requests

So getting the songs our listeners want can put
you too the test,

But I wouldn't work anywhere but rockmasterzradio

For if I did these nice women I would never know.

For two special parents on there twenty-sixth Anniversary.

Twenty-Six Years Of Marriage

To stay together for twenty-six years

a man and women must be wise

For marriage takes a lot of compromise,

Because both of you must be able to bend but not break

And in marriage there is so much at stake,

Each others feelings is a good place to start

Next the choice the children must make if you part,

But I know a divorce will never occur

Since there is no problem you can't conquer,

Whether it's where to get the money for the bills

Or what time to set your watch for Mom's pills,

There aren't many marriage problems you haven't solved

So I'm pretty sure that's why your relationship hasn't dissovled,

So to put this poem in summary

Your deserve one another and a Happy Anniversary.

For a great sister who is always there when needed ;).

Sister

Only once do we discover a great kin

That's as good as Eli Whitney's cotton gin,

Like Thomas Edison and Menlo Park

If I were evicted I wouldn't be left in the dark,

Or Bell's invention of the telephone

For if I had no alternative I know you would give me a loan,

And your in a class with no others

When I compare you to the inventors

of the talking movie, Warner Brothers,

I could also compare you to Marconi and the wireless

For if I had another sister I'd surely miss,

So there is only one last thing to say

Your as good as Sir Isaac Newton any day.

For my brother-in-law on his birthday.

My Favorite Brother In-Law

Your a pretty good brother-in-law as far as I'm concerned

And it didn't take too much intelligence for that to be learned,

Your much better than the one from B.F.E.

Who must always be better than me,

And takes great pride is dishing out scrutiny

Like saying "that's not how you dig a good whole"

Or "In the Army you don't fly the flag like that on the pole".

I don't know why I get along better with you

Must be 'cause you don't make fun of everything I do,

Although you may have some flaws here and there

Like sometimes not brushing your teeth or combing your hair,

When speaking of another your pretty hard to compare.

A great poem about the parents that shaped the man I am!.

Mom And Dad

Who could ask for better parents than you two

The type that gives so much and ask so few,

And through think and thin puts up with you

I think you would be hard pressed to find

Two parents that are close to being as kind,

If you did that would be a shock

For when you raised me you knew all the tricks of the trade

never seeking help from Dr. Benjamin Spock,

Or using a home-help care aide

And you might say I turned out like the two of you

Since gambling is one thing I really like to do,

Also playing chess which Dad, I'm sure I got from you.

And you know I'd give up my heart for you Mom

For what's the point of living without you.

As you can see parents like you are somewhat a rarity

That's why you are both so important to me,

So I hope the holidays are all they are cracked up to be.

For a special Mom on Christmas Day

Mom

Often there are not enough words to describe

How much I appreciate all you do to keep my alive,

By providing good meals every single day

So if you kicked me out I wouldn't die of malnutrition anyway,

I would probably miss you and look like a bum

But since you made sure I got an education

at least I wouldn't be dumb.

And I would probably commit crimes and end up in jail

But at least I'd have someone to post my bail,

It seems there's not much you wouldn
't do for me

I bet that's the way it'll always be

So I guess there's only one thing to say

I sure hope you have a great Christmas Day.

For my Father on Christmas Day

Dad

Christmas only comes once a year

Therefore it's our duty to make sure it filled will cheer,

I'm certainly glad you're my Dad

For if I had another I'd surely be sad,

And when I say how much you mean

to me you know it's sincere,

Since no other Dad could set my bones

when they slide off kilter,

And I know working seventy-hours a week isn't easy

But after the bills next came Amanda and me,

Leaving only a little time to spend with your sweetie

So I sure hope you have a great day

And enjoy the gifts that are coming your way.

For my friend Jen a great euchre player

Jen The Jem

Since I first joined this ladder years ago

I have seen many top players come and go,

From Blue_Blaze, a_one_bitch, Darts4me1,

Thumper13133 and many players we all know,

And I have had the privilege to be the partner in tow

Now I must add another player to the list

Jen the Jem or Lovinwicca9 if you insist,

Joining Jen for some cards in an honor

For a big responsibility has been placed upon her,

She has done a great job as a classy number one

And will be remembered when her days are done,

Just like those mentioned on line three

For you are all part of Cases legacy,

Jen the Jem you should be very proud

You see you are now part of a very elite crowd.

For a special Dad the title says it all !.

One Of A Kind Dad

I am so lucky that I could find

A father who is one of a kind,

I could have got the one who raised Marvyn Gaye

Who got fed up with his son and blew him away,

Or the Dad of Jeffery Dahmer

Who didn't provide his son enough liver,

Possibly the Dad of Charles Manson

Who's parenting skills were a bit rancid

Or one like that of John Wilkes Booth

Who taught his son to much about guns in his youth,

And one of these guys I will never be

For you've instilled so many values in me.

For a special Aunt who will be missed and never forgotten.

Special People Live Forever

Although you have moved on to a better place

No one will ever forget your smiling face,

The great gestures which always came from your heart

We will all remember even though we're apart

But really we aren't as long as your in our hearts,

When we had a problem we could surely turn to you

For you always knew the right things to do,

You will always live forever that's a fact

As your place in all our hearts is permanently intact,

And generosity was first thing on your mind

Caring and compassion were never left behind,

A love so powerful you have given us all

So when thinking of you that's all we will recall.
